Raktamokshana

The activity of removing impure blood from the body is called Raktamokshana. There are two types: Jalauka Vacharana (leech therapy) and Shiravedha (venesection). Raktamokshana is suitable for skin diseases (psoriasis, leucoderma, alopecia, gout), Vatarakta (gout), hemorrhoids, and other related disorders. The timing is weekly, as per the physician’s guidance.

The five procedures mentioned above are performed for body purification. Various other therapeutic measures are also used to treat specific diseases. Therefore, they are collectively referred to as practical Panchakarma.

At Lifewin, we believe in embracing traditional wisdom to enhance modern lifestyles. Introducing Raktamokshana, an ancient Ayurvedic therapy that rejuvenates your body and revitalizes your spirit.
